Complete Puzzles, Solve Mysteries, and Play Mini-Games

Lost in Play is crafted to look similar to many of the popular cartoons of the last decade, like Gravity Falls, Hilda, and Over the Garden Wall. Go on a nostalgic trip and relive that childhood imagination. Explore old ruins, fly through the sky on a giant stork, and even lead a rebellion in a goblin village.

Get lost in the child-like wonder and imaginations of Gal and Toto on an adventure. Explore fantastical dreamscapes and make friends with the magical creatures. Lost in their imagination, the brother and sister team must stick together to solve the various puzzles and mysteries they come across in their journey until they find their way back home.

While you explore the dream-like world of Lost in Play wrapped up in a modern point-and-click adventure, you’ll encounter plenty of fantastical creatures and puzzles. Help a team of frogs pull a sword from a stone. Collect the pieces to build a flying machine. Even challenge a pirate seagull to a game of clicking crabs.

Perhaps one of the best parts of this game is that it’s entirely family friendly. So, if you’re looking for a game to get the kids in on, this is a good one to give a chance. There’s also no dialogue. Everything is communicated visually, making it easier to play with your young ones too!

    Out Now!

Lost in Play is out now for Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Gog.com.

Destiny Connect: Tick-Tock Travelers is a beautiful game about a town called Clocknee, and a little girl named Sherry who is trying to save it.  Everything is proceding as normal on December 31, 1999, until the clock strikes midnight. What should have brought in the year 2000, instead freezes the entire town of Clocknee in time. Even the New Year’s fireworks are frozen in the sky above them.

Destiny Connect: Tick-Tock Travelers fireworks in Clocknee

And while everything stops for the people and time itself in that moment, Sherry is not frozen in time.  Nor are the machines.  When everything else froze, all of the machines came to life!  Televisions, toasters…all manner of ordinary appliances…become robots Sherry has to face in turn-based combat.

    Beautiful art, beautiful music

The character art style of Destiny Connect is highly reminiscent of a Pixar movie.  We were pleasantly reminded of Toy Story when we were enjoying the sights of picturesque Clocknee alongside Sherry. And check out the official site to get an earful of that beautiful soundtrack!

The main characters we’ve met so far are stuffed with personality.  Sherry is a tough but headstrong little girl, and her friend Pegreo is smart and sensible, but very timid.

But even if she finds companions along the way, what could a handful of children possibly do, to start time flowing in Clocknee again?  To her surprise, she learns that her father had a robot in his office.  The robot’s name is Isaac, and he can time-travel.

Left with no other options, Sherry must make use of Isaac’s abilities and travel to the past (and the future!) to try to figure out what went wrong in Clocknee.  We look forward to being alongside her to help solve the mystery…and to enjoy the game’s beautiful soundtrack the whole while.

The release date for Destiny Connect: Tick-Tock Travelers is October 22, and will be available on Switch and PS4. Watch an overview trailer here! If you’re intrigued by games where you can time-travel, check out Mr. Tic Toc & the Endless City.

    Animal Crossing: ‘New Leak’

A new leak by LootPots suggests that Animal Crossing for Switch could potentially hit the shelves as early as Q1 2019.

The site, which is notorious for its Nintendo news and reviews, states that “information from one of our sources suggests that Animal Crossing on Nintendo Switch is most likely set for a late Q1 or early Q2 (calendar year) release date.”

Which in layman’s terms means sometime around March/April 2019. The game is also rumored to be targeting a suggested retail price of €59,99.

However, with no confirmation from Nintendo regarding the game’s release date, this information should be treated as a rumour.

    About Animal Crossing:

Animal Crossing is a franchise infamous for its community-based life simulation games with anthropomorphic characters. Developed and published by Nintendo, the first main series Animal Crossing game was released in Japan for Gamecube back in 2001. Whilst various spin-off games have been released, the most recent main series game, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, was released for Nintendo 3DS in 2012. Whilst there are no specific objectives in the games, players are encouraged to participate in activities such as fishing, socializing and errand-running, shopping etc.

Whilst very little is known about the content of Animal Crossing for Switch, it is highly likely that the game will feature notorious fat cat Tom Nook, who starred in the game’s September Nintendo Direct reveal trailer. Additionally, the presence of Isabelle in the Nintendo Direct Super Smash Bros. Ultimate trailer suggests that she could also be making a return.

    More to follow!
