We’re just a week away from Halloween, and I’m so incredibly excited for it! What better way to celebrate it than with another cozy, yet spooky game to play? This time, we have Harvest Island, a farming sim with a horror twist. The gods demand a harvest offering, your dad is telling white lies, and the island itself seems to be hiding something.

Harvest Island is a narrative-driven horror farming sim game. You can farm crops, collect creatures from the tidepools like starfish and horseshoe crabs, and even forage items like coconuts and seaweed. Spend time catching fish, which you can also offer up to the gods in return for blessings that help you with your farming and crafting. You can also cook up the fish in tasty meals for yourself to restore your stamina!

Explore different areas and find the hidden spots of Harvest Island like a beautiful waterfall hiding a cave behind it, or the vending machine placed in the dark underground room at the beach. Craft different tools like ladders and rope to help you explore the island further, help you on your farm, and progress the story further. You can even befriend the animals you find in your adventure. Offer them food or a friendly pat, and they may reward you with items or show you an undiscovered place!

This deceitful island waits for you to explore it.

    Available Now

You can find this spooky farming sim on Steam now!

    Take Photographs and Complete Minigames

The Star Named EOS is a beautiful first-person narrative puzzle adventure game about photography and capturing the fleeting moments of life. You play as Dei, a young photographer following in the footsteps of his missing mother. His mother was often away from home traveling, leaving Dei to imagine the adventures she was having using the photos and letters from her. However, Dei notices something odd about one of the photos his mother has left him, and he realizes maybe things aren’t all they appear.

Guided by a voice deep within him, Dei embarks on an adventure full of photography and mysteries. The Star Named EOS features a relaxing journey that can be completed at any pace. Dive into a gorgeous hand-drawn world, collect props, and be sure to interact with absolutely everything you see. You never know what you’ll come across. Use your very own camera to take beautiful photographs, complete a number of challenging minigames, and solve new challenges to recreate old photos.

Experience a fully voice acted story full of heartwarming love and memories. Rediscover the beauty of the world through the lens of a camera. Step back in time through the Polaroids left behind by Dei’s mother, and experience an emotional story full of mystery. The Star Named EOS is a wonderfully crafted cozy game worth a play.

A Reddit user has shared the exciting response he got from Kan Gao, who is the designer, writer, composer, and director of popular game To The Moon.

In the exchange between the user and the developer, the user enthusiastically asks whether there are any plans for the game to come to Nintendo Switch. Although rather cryptic, the developer appears to confirm a Switch release (or at least plans for one) in his reply.

A screen capture of messages exchanged between the Reddit user and game developer Kan Gao

However, it’s important to bear in mind that an official announcement confirming the port has not yet been made.

    About the game:

To The Moon is a Story-Rich indie Adventure game with a plot somewhat reminiscent of popular sci-fi thriller series Black Mirror. Although the game was released for Windows back in 2011, it is still highly regarded. This is evident with ‘overwhelmingly Positive’ reviews on Steam (where the game is often praised for its emotive narrative), and in the fact that the game was also released for MacOS and Linux in 2014, and for Android and iOS in 2017.

    Story: (Contains some spoilers)

To The Moon features two doctors who are capable of giving patients on their deathbeds another chance to live, right from the beginning. The only catch is that the experience is only in the patient’s head, and that they will die once they reach the end of that life.

The game focuses on an elderly patient named Johnny, and the two doctors’ attempt to fulfill his lifelong dream. As they uncover fragments of his past, it becomes as ‘clear as day’ that Johnny only ever had one real wish; To go ‘To The Moon’.
