Don’t Starve Together has a new character, and a little video showcasing said hero.
Don’t Starve Together is one of those games that you can always pick back up and get right back into. I mean, with procedurally generated maps, it is a new experience every time. Not only that, but the game is still receiving updates that add all sorts of new things to the adventure. The latest update brings us a new hero to embody. The hero is named Walter, and he even has a companion doggo named Woby.
About Walter and Woby.
As with all the characters in Don’t Starve Together, Walter has his own unique attributes to bring a unique experience to playing the game. While he is not afraid of anything (won’t lose sanity in the dark), he doe constantly lose sanity throughout the day. He will also lose sanity from being hit. So this will be the one point that you will need to focus on during your adventures with Walter.
He will also come with his very own slingshot. This cool little weapon will even come with its own special types of ammo, including poo to scare away baddies, and cursed ammo to summon tentacles to fight in your stead.
A not-so-brave doggo.
Possibly the coolest thing about Walter is his little buddy Woby. Woby is a hairy pup that starts out small, and will grow to a bigger form through feeding it enough monster meat (Woby only eats monster meat). Woby will be able to carry things, much like Chester. And once she reaches her bigger form, you will even be able to ride Woby like a domesticated Beefalo. However, if you let her starve, she will go back to her small form.

The new character, Walter, will also come with a few different skins to choose from. This way, you will be able to pick which one best matches your own personality and play style. The skins will be available through the Walter Deluxe Wardrobe DLC, which will cost $7.99. The skins are as follows…

Valentines Day is almost upon us and what better way than to share the day by perfectly working together in harmony in one of these adorable co-op games!

Garden Paws
When you play online in Garden Paws, you have the choice to create a server room and allow up to 4 players into your world. They can help you farm, fight monsters in the dungeon, and pretty much anything else you can do in single-player campaign.
This is also a particularly useful way to share rare items. Creative Mode is basically a sandbox mode where you already have access to every single item the game has to offer with some added bonuses which include: a jetpack and magic carpet to fly around, the lawnmower from the Summer games festival, confetti canon, and more!

Tools Up!
Tools Up is a local cooperative game about home renovation developed by The Knights of Unity and published by All in! Games. Wait! I promise you it’s a lot more fun than that sounds.
With 2 or up to 4 players you can make your way up several floors of a skyscraper and play a level in every apartment. You must successfully follow the instructions of your blueprints (i.e. by painting the right walls the right colors) in a race against the clock!

Knights and Bikes
Knights and Bikes is a quirky adventure set on a fictional British island in the late 1980s. The charming Co-Op journey is now coming to Nintendo Switch!
You can play as two characters: Nessa & Demelza cooperatively online or even locally! They’re tough and imaginative girls exploring the island of Penfurzy in search of mysteries and on a quest to find the legendary treasure.

A Hat In Time
A Hat in Time is a game that has maintained overwhelmingly positive feedback on Steam since its launch in late 2017. A few months after its Mac and PC release, it was also brought to PS4 and Xbox One, but there were no plans to bring it to the Nintendo Switch at the time.
That has now changed! Very recently the news surfaced that it was not only confirmed to be coming to the Switch, but has a physical release date of October 18, 2019.

Luigis Mansion 3
Luigi is invited to a luxurious hotel with Mario, Peach, and the others. But of course, not long after Luigi arrives, things take a dark turn for the gang. The other guests turn out to be ghosts and they are rather aggressive!
Luigi has to save everyone and face every challenge thrown at him. There are many floors to this hotel with each one having uniquely themed designs, ghosts, and puzzles. For example, the floors range from a medieval castle to a museum/production studio!

Mario Maker 2
The perfect game for two people as you create together as a team! Play, build and share in Super Mario Maker 2 a Mario meets Minecraft combination. Set in the world of Mario, players will be able to create their own levels in the style of many old and new Mario games.
The levels can be played with up to 4 player locally as well as with friends all over the world via internet – you know, the thing you use to read this article right now.

Temtem
Temtem is a creature collection game inspired by Pokemon. Some might say heavily inspired, but there are certainly some key features that help Temtem stand out above the rest. The heavy multiplayer focus is certainly what made me wanna keep an eye on, so I have… and its a perfect game to play with your valentine as well!

Wattam
Wattam is a puzzle adventure game developed by Funomena, published by Annapurna Interactive, and imagined by the beautiful and weird mind of Keita Takahashi (creator of Katamari Damacy).
In this game you are the Mayor and you can make friends and have fun in single-player or in local co-op. I’ve been looking forward to holding hands with creatures that resemble toilets and poop, food and utensils, for a while now.

Hallowed Nights has returned as of October 24th, 2019! For the most part, Hallowed Nights will remain the same as last year but with a couple new tricks and treats. A brand new character DLC has been added as well. “Wurt is a curious young Merm trying to expand her horizons… as long as those horizons don’t extend into Pig territory.” Some new skins have been added to the Hallowed Nights collection and the drop rarity for those skins has been increased during this limited time. The base game of Don’t Starve Together is 60% off as well as quite a few bundles here on Steam.
Farm Together
Plant tons of Cursed Pumpkins to unlock new themed items that will send chills down your spine! Grow Cursed Pumpkins to unlock exclusive customization and decoration items! This event ends on November 6th, 2019. Farm Together is on sale on Steam for 25% off now and for a limited time.
Jenney LeClue
The costume sets below sets the groundwork for future cosmetic costume customization and themed sets! To try out Jenny’s Spooktacular outfits, update the game, and then simply go into the in-game options menu to change costumes. Monster Prom
With this new Ghost Story update, there will be a band new plotline. This Halloween, explore a tragic tale of romance and dread, played between Winston Montgomery and the mysterious Esmeralda. There are 3 whole new events to look forward to, each leading to what is the longest plotline to date! Also added to this update will be some eerie outfits and a modding tool. Dont Starve Together: Return of Them gets the Salty Dog update!
Don’t Starve Together is definitely one of my favorite survival games on the market. All things considered, nothing quite compares to the super fun and spooky art style combined with the seemingly endless combinations of environment and enemies.
The Dont Starve Together: Return of Them and Turn of Tides updates brought lots of new goodies to add much more playtime! Now, with Salty Dog, we are getting an all new ingredient to help slow the rotting of food, Seasoning Salt. You will be able to mine this from salt formations.
There is also a new monster to watch out for, the Malbatross! This over-sized terror bird will will dampen anyones day with its presence, that’s for sure. Like we needed another baddie to make these treacherous waters even worse….

Don’t Starve is an adventure and simulation game about gathering resources and surviving in a strange land with many dangers. It’s developed by Klei Entertainment, an indie studio that continues to add content and regular updates to their standalone multiplayer expansion Don’t Starve Together. Return of Them is a free Don’t Starve Together expansion with the most recent update being Turn of Tides.
Now you can play the expansion with the newest update since August 15th, 2019 on Steam here. Unfortunately the update will be delayed for another 3-4 weeks for console players. Furthermore, if you log into your PC game within the next 2 weeks, you’ll receive the “Roseate Sail” so you can deck out your new boat. Oh yes, there are boats now in Don’t Starve Together! Remember Don’t Starve? The quirky survival game now also available on Nintendo Switch! The developers behind Don’t Starve, Mark of the Ninja and other popular games finally released their new game Oxygen Not Included. The game shares the same adorable art-style and amusing gameplay as we come to love from Klei games.
In Oxygen Not Included you will start with a tiny colony of only three people. Inside what appears to be a moon rock, you will begin with a box of just a few useful things to help you get rolling. Some foods, tools, and a computer to research technologies used to advance in the game.
Players will have to start their own colony, build, craft and manage people. Make sure that everyone survives, but even better – survive and thrive! Keeping people happy is a key element in the game.
Oxygen Not Included initially entered early access in 2017 and has since then undergone many changes and enhancements. Plenty new features have been added as well, to make Oxygen Not Included as fun as can be!

60 Seconds! Reatomized is a tragically hilarious game about survival. Gather everything you can for the sole purpose of survival within 60 seconds – family members, food supplies and more!
60 Seconds! Reatomized puts the player right into the hectic action. With only 60 seconds left until the bomb will hit the ground, you will have to go on a loot run through your very own home and gather everything you can. You will need to watch out for what is most important to you, is it the televisions for endless entertainment? Food supplies? Water?
While you make those difficult decision within your 60 seconds time frame, most everything around you will work against you. Time, your furniture and even your house that is entirely different every time you play the game. With randomized environments much like in the style of Don’t Starve, the game is set to always provide a fresh and unique experience every time you load it up.
This also ensures that each survival story is a bit different from the other. As the game goes on, every day might bring something new and surpassing that can alter the way you play the game. You will need to make sure that your food is well rationed, and water supply is steady. While making sure you have a full tummy, you also have to prepare to make difficult choices as you explore the wasteland!

Among Trees is a beautifully and carefully crafted indie game about building a cabin in the middle of a forest for the sole purpose of survival.
In Among Trees players will find themselves in the middle of a mysterious but colorful forest with a tiny cabin at hand. You will start the game by gathering resources, food, wood and anything else you can get your hands on. The tiny starter cabin can of course be expanded by adding new rooms to it, make the cottage your home and survive with style!
Among Trees also offers an expansive crafting system where players can plant food, harvest the crops and cook them into delicious and much needed food. You will also be able to go on a fishing trip, catch some fish and cook them for a delicious dinner as well – choices are yours! Of course there are also other side activities you came to love from similar sandbox survival games. Players will be able to enjoy tool crafting, exploration, cutting down trees for a steady wood supply and more.
Cooking in Among Trees But sometimes the beauty of the forest can be misleading. The wild can get back at you when you least expect it, so it is important to stay stealthy and healthy to make sure to avoid the deadly beasts hidden down in the forest, as you go on an exploration journey through the beautiful woods and caves surrounding your cabin.
