The time of money savings is upon us, and here are a few goodies you may just want to snag on sale!

Every year, around this time, we start seeing a whole bunch of companies offering insane deals on their products. Just about anything can be purchased at a discount during Black Friday, including lots of awesome stuff to spruce up your gaming station. Lacking a decent T.V.? Wishing you had a sweet surround sound system to enjoy your games even more? Well, now is the time to collect all those odds and ends that your chill needs to reach perfection.

    A visual upgrade.

Right now, Amazon has all kinds of wonderful deals on a variety of screens. T.V.’s, laptops, cell phones and tablets are all currently discounted. Both Samsung and Sony have excellent deals on some of their more affordable television sets (under $100). You can also find lots of great deals on Fire tablets, either adult or kid versions.

    Black Friday

If you’re looking for something even more mobile than a tablet, maybe a new phone could suit your needs. Motorola is currently discounting unlocked Razr phones at a variety of prices. Also, Target currently has a Chromebook for sale, discounted down to $120 from $220.

    Audio Upgrades

Sometimes, all it takes to add some pizazz to your special place is a boost in audio quality. Whether that be putting your jams on blast with a new surround sound, or keeping them to yourself with some cool new headphones, this Black Friday is sure to have something for you.

For those of you that don’t mind spending a little extra for high quality, Sony is currently discounting some noise-cancelling headphones for $279, down from $350. For anyone not wishing to spend that much but still want a great experience, Samsung has a few options that you may want to check out. Skullcandy also has some cheaper options for wireless headphones.

    Black Friday

When it comes to surround sound, Sony pretty much has all the best pieces that you would want. Currently, they have a variety of options on sale, all at different prices ranging from $130-$800. While that may still seem a little pricey, I can say from experience that Sony really knows what they are doing in the audio department.

    The games.

As of right now, there aren’t too many deals on the games themselves. Amazon has a few choice ones, like Luigi’s Mansion and Super Mario Maker 2. You can see the full list of Switch games discounted here. You can also find a big list of games on sale through Steam.

    Gamestop Logo

Seeing as how the top game makers aren’t too keen on selling their masterpieces for cheap, it makes sense that these special deals would be held until a little closer to actual Black Friday. You can find some games discounted at GameStop, but don’t expect to find anything that isn’t usually discounted anyway.

With all the deals I’ve found over the last few days, I just wanted to put my favorite ones in one place!

Today is the day! Time to save big bucks on great items that you’ve been needing or wanting, or stock up on gifts for the upcoming special holiday. There have been so many great deals on games and game related items, it’s impossible to say no to all of them. So now I have compiled a list of my favorite Black Friday deals, to make this decision just that much easier.

    Playstation 4 1TB Bundle

If you don’t already own one, this might be the greatest deal on gaming currently available. The playstation 4 will be sold through certain retailers for only $199.99, and will come with three games. The deal includes The Last of Us Remastered & digital downloads of God of War & Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition. You can get this offer right now by visiting Amazon or the official Walmart website.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

This epic adventure game has been described as one of the best games ever made, and it is pretty obvious why. Being the most recent installment in the super popular franchise, Breath of the Wild really wowed, as expected. Now you can get your own copy for half off the normal price. That’s right, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is currently only $30.00!!  Check out the deal here!

    Controllers For Every Console

Whether you need an extra for when you have friends over, or a backup in case one breaks, it never hurts to have more than one controller. Maybe the one you are currently using has a few issues? Well, a deal can be found on a controller for each system this holiday season. Target is the place to go fo XBOX and PS4, while Amazon has the Joycon marked down to $59.99.

    RE:Legend

Re:Legend is on sale once again. This time the price tag has dropped by 20%, making it currently $15.99. Re:Legend is an adorable adventure game that features many fun creatures and exciting quests. It is a great game that is certainly worth the pice tag.

For more great deals, you can check out the many articles from which this one was derived. Steam Favorites, Best Black Friday Deals, Nintendo Deals, Targets Deals and Amazon Games Deals. Happy Holidays!

Steam is having a gigantic sale on games for Black Friday, so I sorted it out to find some of my favorites.

Black Friday is now only two days away! Though, many retails and suppliers of goods and services have decided to offer discounts ahead of the big day. Steam is currently offering some pretty big discounts on lots of my favorite games. So in case you are yet to try any of these reduced-price games, now is the time.

    Don’t Starve Together

    Dont Starve Together

The “Don’t Starve” series of games are currently being offered at a substantial discount. Specifically, Don’t Starve Together is now only $5.99, down from $14.99. Don’t Starve Together is the multiplayer expansion for the Uber-popular game franchise, Don’t Starve. Don’t Starve is an open-world, 2D sandbox survival game with procedurally generated maps and kooky graphics. See Don’t Starve Together on Steam. Other Don’t Starve items include Shipwrecked and Reign of Giants DLC.

    Lot’s of LEGO Games

LEGO has been great at taking some of the world’s biggest gaming franchises and making them cute and silly. Now, you can try some of these charming remakes at greatly reduced price. LEGO Worlds is currently offered at 50% of it’s original cost, making it now only $14.99. Other games on sale include Star Wars, Marvel, Harry Potter and Jurassic Park, all LEGO-fied.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy + Crash Bandicoot

    Spyro Reignited Trilogy

Not too long ago, we were given the gift of the remakes of the first three installments of the Spyro series. Our favorite rambunctious dragon is back with an all new shiny coat of paint. The trilogy of games is currently available for only $31.99, which is 20% off. If you purchase this trilogy with the Crash Bandicoot trilogy, you get a total of 40% off. That’s six different remastered games for $47.82!

    Wanderlust Travel Stories

Wanderlust Travel Stories is a game about traveling, but it offers a lot more than just that, it is essentially a life simulation game about choices. The game is on sale for $9.99, which is half of the original price. It is a relaxing game about exploring the world, and seeing where sim-life takes you.

    Re:Legend

Re:Legend is on sale once again. This time the price tag has dropped by 20%, making it currently $15.99. Re:Legend is an adorable adventure game that features many fun creatures and exciting quests. It is a great game that is certainly worth the pice tag.

These are just some of my picks from Steam’s huge sale. Be sure to check it out for yourself, and let me know if you find any more gems on sale!

During Microsoft’s X019, I caught the live show of Inside Xbox which revealed world premieres and gameplay footage for titles coming next year (2020) for Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass. You can watch the full stream below and check out my highlights for the most ‘potatoey’ games that I can’t wait to get my hands on!

Microsoft also announced their Black Friday sales which include discounts of 20%-70% off such as: $150 off Xbox One consoles, three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for just $1 and up to 50% off Xbox Game Studios titles! Furthermore, Project xCloud is coming to PCs sometime in 2020 and more than 50+ Xbox game titles are available in the Preview library.

    My X019 Potato List

    • Everwild: a new IP by Rare that will “give you memorable, engaging, and meaningful experiences for players everywhere to share.” There is no release date as of now.
    • Grounded: a cooperative survival game by Obsidian coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC and console this Spring 2020. Play in first-person view as the size of an ant (Honey, I Shrunk the Kids style).
    • Kart Rider Drift: an adorable racing game full of customization options. Sign-up now for the Closed Beta available on PC and Xbox One from December 5th to 8th.
    • Planet Coaster Console Edition: the theme park management game by Frontier Developments (Planet Zoo) is finally coming to Xbox One (and probably other consoles) this Summer 2020.
    • Tell Me Why: another intense narrative game by the Life is Strange studio DONTNOD. It’s a game about twins Tyler and Alyson coming this Summer 2020.
    • The Artful Escape: by Annapurna Interactive where you play as Francis (also looks like Harry Potter), a teenage guitar prodigy, and set out on a psychedelic, multidimensional journey to inspire your stage persona. Coming to Xbox and Apple Arcade in 2020.
    • Drake Hollow: from The Molasses Flood, comes a game that seems to be about befriending plant-creatures and having them help you build items and structures. There’s also a battle element that shows some multiplayer aspects. It will be coming to Xbox Game Pass but we have no release date yet.

Stick around all weekend long for more news at X019 from London, England! Hopefully we can catch glimpses of games on the show floor! Also, I want to hear which game you are most excited about.
