[dropcap]S[/dropcap]quare Enix the developer behind the Final Fantasy series has recently announced their full support for the Nintendo Switch. Now the company goes a step further, Takashi Tokita, a valued employee at Square Enix has teased more progress on Twitter. He announced the “ beginning of a new project ” with a Nintendo Switch photo attached to his tweet. You can see the original tweet below.

No official announcement has been made, but like the recent I Am Setsuna port, we can expect more video game ports from the developer, as well as new original content according to Tokitas tweet. RE:LEGEND an Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon and Pokemon hybrid game currently in development would make a great fit on the Nintendo Switch – you can learn more about RE:LEGEND in our earlier post here.
