Atari is responsible for one of the most successful Tycoon games in the history of games, Roller Coaster Tycoon. The giant company is now working hard to bring Roller Coaster Tycoon Switch to life. The recent attempt to pull in more funding via StartEngine, by giving people to invest into the project, ended successful, and the project is going full steam ahead. Atari also finally confirmed that the game will release later this year. Roller Coaster Tycoon Switch will not feature micro transaction, but a brand new gameplay, features and graphics all tailored to the hybrid console.
In Roller Coaster Tycoon the player jumps into the role of a theme park manager. You will design, build, manage and create your very own theme park from the bottom up. Players are able to design roller coasters, decorate the park with flowers, trees and dozen of other items.
The developers have now announced that some more details and reveals will happen during this years E3 in June. Roller Coaster Tycoon Switch was first shown off at GDC back in March, and the first gameplay footage has been released at the same time. Check it out below.
