Two Point Hospital is a quirky hospital sim builder developed by Two Point Studios and published by SEGA. For those of you who recall playing EA’s Theme Hospital back in the late 90’s, Two Point Hospital will have you feeling nostalgia as the two games are very similar with Two Point Hospital feeling just like an updated version.

Today SEGA announced that Two Point Hospital will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch! The game that has more than 97% positive reviews on Steam will now be heading to the big screen.

There are a whooping 15 levels in Two Point Hospital where you build various rooms, hire staff to run them and once you have everything you need, the game will run itself while you watch – if that is something you desire.

But the game really shines when you start micromanaging and treating your patients, making sure there are enough seats in the waiting room and enough doctors on call to treat all the patients.

There are a few other options like making your hospital look visually appealing, making sure your patients don’t get bored, putting sanitation centers to insure the cleanliness of the hospital, and training your staff, but these aspects are also very limited. The simplicity of this game-play led for a very relaxing afternoon but I felt like the game needed more context to keep me playing it.

Two Point Hospital will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch later this year! Check out the fun new announcement trailer below.

With the increased popularity of nostalgia gaming, we have made a list of our favorite Super Nintendo games.

Nostalgia gaming to seems to be all the buzz, of late. It appears to have all begun with an influx of dedicated home video game consoles. We now have the Playstation Classic, NES classic and even Super NES classic editions. All home consoles that have games built right in. Now, we even have new titles being released on classic consoles, such as Orange Island and its release on NES. There has never been a better time to indulge in the classics that we’ve all come to love over so many years.

    Harvest Moon

The Harvest Moon series has been a long standing favorite here at myPotatoGames. We simply can’t get enough of simple yet adorable farming sim titles. The original Harvest Moon was released in North America for the Super Nintendo in June of 1997. This amazing title became the inspiration for an entire generation of RPG farming simulation games. The spunky main characters and adorable little animals in this series have brought endless joy to countless gamers. If you’ve never played, this is one classic that you should definitely check out.

    The Lion King

The Lion King for Super Nintendo never really lost its fame. It has been long renown for its difficulty, and played by many through the years for that exact reason. Going beyond that, it also happens to be a super charming game based on a classic wonderful film (one that has recently been remade). The original game was released in North America in October of 1994. Given that the many of the elements of the game were actually drawn by Disney Imagineers, you truly get the feel of a family classic in the most wholesome of titles.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past

The Zelda series has hit us with some really great games over the years. But we must always remember our roots. LoZ: A Link to the Past was originally released in North America in November of 1991, then later ported to the Gameboy Advance in December of 2002. A prequel to the original titles, Link to the Past was one of the best selling games for the Super Nintendo, and it’s pretty obvious why. The cutesy graphics alone are enough to have us replaying this one for years to come.

    Super Mario World

Of all the Mario titles that we’ve seen, Super Mario World still holds a little place in our hearts. The good ole days of booting up the SNES to partake in the most grand adventures as Mario himself, with the help of many classic friends that have been longstanding heroes too many. Super Mario World was released in North America in August of 1991, and was also ported to the Gameboy Advance in 2002. Super Mario World also happens to be the best selling game for the Super Nintendo.

    Super Mario Kart

With nearly as many remakes as the titles from which Mario Kart gets its namesake, Super Mario Kart is one original title that just doesn’t really get old. What’s not to love about getting down with some Mario Kart without all the new-age racket that has been added to the series over the years. Super Mario Kart didn’t need a million customizations to keep us playing for hours, it was simply one of the best racing experiences on the market. Super Mario was released in September of 1992, and ended up being the fourth best selling game released for the Super Nintendo.

To play all of these amazing titles, be sure to get your hands on a Super Nintendo (which can be found on Amazon or Ebay), and for some a Gameboy Advance (also available on Amazon and Ebay)!

The latest patch for Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled significantly drops the load times.

The most recent patch for CTR: Nitro Fueled brings some much welcomed (and much needed) changes. Sometimes the loading of a game can make or break or it. Too long of load times will cause one to think twice about which game they feel like loading up. If enough players are effected negatively by the load times of a game, it can die (online at least). Thanks to patch 1.0.5 for Crash Team Racing, this will most likely not be the cause of death for this wacky racing title.

In the patch, the load times between races has been reduced by approximately 14 seconds. This drops it from its original whopping 42 second load time to a much easier to swallow 28 seconds. Just enough to keep the wait at a bearable point. It is just a toony kart game, after all. The load times for Switch weren’t the the only things touched up in this update. Here is a comprehensive list of all the changes that have been made to CTR: Nitro Fueled:

    – Loading time improvements on all platforms
    – Stability fixes when playing online
    – Adjustment to track selection frequency when choosing tracks in online matchmaking lobbies
    – Fix for various track lap exploits
    – Adjustment of global cooldown for power-ups on all players (prevent timeclock/warp orb spamming)
    – Fix to lobbies not repopulating properly after player quits
    – Fix to position shuffling and rewards at race end
    – Various other issues

For more information about Nitro Fueled, be sure to check out the official Crash Bandicoot website.
