Jul 27, 2017[dropcap]O[/dropcap]vercooked Special Edition has finally arrived on Nintendo Switch. The wild and hillarious multiplayer cooking game is now available on the Nintendo e-Shop for $19.99. To celebrate the launch of the game, developer Ghost Town Games has released a launch trailer. You can watch the launch trailer and a lengthy gameplay video showing Overcook on the Switch below.
The game comes with a total of 14 extra levels, on top of the original 30. Beyond new stages, the game will also feature new recipes, mechanics and event some new equipment! The Overcooked Switch version bundles all of this with the original content in one game.

I want to play Overcooked for the Switch because the Switch has allowed my boyfriend and I to bond over video games! He’s an Xbox person, and I love Nintendo, but he was just as excited about the Switch as I was when it was announced! Now we play games on it together, and he thought the trailer/gameplay for this game looked fun! I want to get it for us to play together and spend time together doing an activity we both love! ❤️

I’m sure I won’t be the only one saying this but me and my girlfriend have been wanting to get this game for the longest time! We play on PS4 but recently we got a Nintendo Switch and Mario Kart that’s all we play at the moment and I have to admit that playing with someone on the Switch it’s way more fun than on PS4. Getting Overcooked for the Switch would be amazing, the game looks adorable and super fun and it would be best game right now to play with my girlfriend after becoming addicted to Mario kart! 🙂

I would love to win this game because up until this point my girlfriend has not been very into switch gaming at all because there have been no games that get her attention. Months ago she said that if a cooking game or home design game came out for it, she would be interested in playing it! Showed her the description and pictures in the eshop today and she said it looks good, but it’s hard for me to justify a purchase on whim of whether or not she may like it or not, but I would really love to share gaming with her and I think it would be a great game for us to play together!
