[dropcap]C[/dropcap]apcom just announced the first Nintendo Switch Monster Hunter XX Bundle coming to Japan August 25th. Monster Hunter XX and the unique looking Switch will be released on the same day. A North American release is scheduled for later this year. The publisher has also released the first Monster Hunter XX gameplay footage trailer as seen below.

In the recent Monster Hunter Event, Capcom also shared some more specifics about the switch version of the game. The game will run in Full HD when docked, and 720p in handheld mode. Monster Hunter XX will also feature a 4 player multiplayer mode. You will be able to play locally or only with up to 4 other players. Most interestingly the multiplayer mode will be cross platform between the Nintendo 3DS and the Nintendo Switch.
