Nintendo is planning to release at least 3 Mobile Games each year, with Animal Crossing to be the only known Game other than Fire Emblem. Nintendo plans to release Mobile games that enhance games on their own consoles. Animal Crossing for example is expected to support the current version on the Nintendo 3ds, as well as a possible Animal Crossing for Nintendo Switch. Nintendo states that Animal Crossing Mobile can be seen as an addition to a full game you may experience on the 3ds. One possible reason for several delays the mobile version has seen, is that Nintendo is holding back until they are ready to unveil a Nintendo Switch version of the beloved Animal Crossing series.
Fantasy Life Online is the sequel to Fantasy Life for Nintendo 3ds and will be released in Japan in April 2017 for iOS and Android, US fans will have to wait a little longer. The game is packed with features, and will allow players to play online. It will feature the same open world, and similar gameplay features that fans came to love in Fantasy Life for the 3ds.
