The Nintendo Switch success is unstoppable these days. Many retailers are still awaiting more stock as major stores like Amazon, Best Buy and Toys “R” Us have no consoles available. Nintendo promised to be delivering more systems towards the end of March. Furthermore, a report by the Wall Street Journal has pointed out that Nintendo is planning to double the production amount. According to the report Nintendo expects to sell 16 Million consoles before March 2018.

These numbers are huge compared to the Nintendo Wii U that in it’s full lifespan from 2012 – 2016 only managed to sell just over 13 Million Units. Nintendo seems to be on a path to success. With more games to be released for the Switch, there is a big chance Nintendo will meet it’s goals. Animal Crossing, Smash Bros, Pikmin and more are all titles that can help sell the Nintendo Switch even more. Already announced games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2, Mario Odyssey and Skyrim will all come out this year, supporting the console further.
