Nintendo dropped the ball on us yesterday by announcing a new Nintendo Direct taking place today at 2pm PT / 5pm ET. Nintendo is rumored to release more information on Fire Emblem Switch, Mario Tennis and some more Nintendo 3DS released news. There have also been rumors that the big N would release more information on the upcoming Pokemon Switch game.

It is to expect that Nintendo will also talk more about it’s Nintendo Switch Online service, that is set to release in September. However, as the Direct announcement states, that we will only hear about new and upcoming Nintendo Switch and 3DS, it is unlikely Nintendo will talk about the recently announced Mario Kart Tour, the big N’s next mobile game.

It will also be interesting to see if the latest Smash Bros Switch rumors come true today. Animal Crossing Fans are of course hoping to finally hear about an Animal Crossing Switch game.
