[dropcap]W[/dropcap]elcome Amiibo was the one and only big update ever released for Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Even months after the release players still discover some secret features Nintendo slipped into this update. While the new campground, the ticket system and other features have taken the spotlight, little things like being able to sit on the rocks have been discovered only later on.

Some dedicated players have found out that Animal Crossing: New Leaf Welcome Amiibo features some new fortune cookies to be obtained through Timmy and Tommy and/or Redds during the firework show.

If you want to know how to get the cookies, and what they may give you – check out this guide. We are giving away a bunch of Animal Crossing Amiibo card packs, If you want to win a Welcome Amiibo card pack, leave a comment below and let us know what your favorite Welcome Amiibo feature is!

The contest will close on April 27th – 6pm PT / 9pm ET. All winners will be notified by e-mail.

Best new feature to me really is the addition of every new character in Animal Crossing. Some are just great to look at and enjoy the scenery with. Then adding them to your town is a game changer!

I love the MEOW tickets, adding daily tasks gave just an extra amount of things to do! 😀

On top of being cute and adorable, I really enjoyed the Island Escape game!

I really like the MEOW coupons! It’s just a little something extra to add to my daily routine. It’s always fun to look and see them get done ?

Best amiibo feature would have to be able to buy the campers items with your Meow coupons.

I know it’s not a big one but one of my favourites is being able to feed the birds in the camp ground! ??

My new favourite feature in the Welcome to Amiibo version is the campsite. The option to buy furniture that was only exclusive in happy home designer is amazing. All you have to do is do certain tasks to get coupons that allow you to buy this furniture. I also love the fact you get to see the characters and their campers. I love talking to Harvey! He’s a really chill dude. He dresses according to the weather, reads a book and feeds the birds. The campsite is one of my favourite places to go

I can’t decide between the option to sell your town to Tom Nook when you want to restart your town and the super secret storage room. It was so nice to restart my town with millions to spend, but the secret storage room is perfect for hoarders like me!
