A massive update for a game like My Time at Portia can only mean one thing, many more hours rediscovering, building and socializing await. Having had its official release only recently, this is sure to be a very exciting and much welcomed update.
My Time at Portia is currently available on PC for $29.99US, and is set to be released for consoles sometime this Spring. Do we know if what is in the 2.0 update will be in the Console releases?

Hey, James! Thanks for your question. We are currently reaching out to Team17 to get the specifics on that. We’ll be sure to let you know about the response. I would imagine that these changes would be included, but hopefully we can find out for sure!

Hey, James. Just wanted to let you know that Team17 got back to us. Their response reads ” In answer to your question about the update notes, those are just on PC. We will be adding these to console as well, but this will come in the form of a post-launch content as it’s new content that’s been added since the original PC release in January.”

That was what I hoped to hear. I’ve now preodered my copy from Best Buy (still got a Gamers Club unlocked membership). Much rather have the game physically, especially since I can share it and I know my wife will steal it.
