[dropcap]J[/dropcap]ackbox Party Pack 3 joins the multiplayer party game genre on Nintendo Switch. Along with Snipperclips: Cut it out Together – this bundle is an absolute hit for everyone in need of a party game experience. Jackbox Party Pack 3 comes with plenty of entertainment that will please any crowed of any age.

When the Switch was first announced, Nintendo introduced the idea of bringing the console to a party. While this concept was received with humor by many, it is Jackbox Party Pack 3 that turns this idea into something real. The portability of the console makes the party game a great pick. It turns the Switch in what the Wii has accomplished many years ago, it makes people play together.

The Jackbox Party Pack 3 comes with a total of five different games, each of them includes a huge variety of content making it very pleasant and fun to replay the different games over and over again without encountering the same content. Before you think that you may need to purchase some more expensive joy-con controllers, there is good news, you will only need one console to run the game, and a smartphone or computer for every additional player in couch coop mode.

This is great to get more players involved in local multiplayer without the need of additional consoles, games, or controllers. Once you start a new game you will be given an access code, this code can be used by your friends that you wish to play with. Simply enter the code on the jackbox.tv website and let the fun begin. The game is controlled by your phone and not by the joy-con controller, making it even easier for anyone to get into. After all this game is designed to be played by anyone. Answers, doodles, and everything else will be sent using your smartphone or PC/Mac. There is no learning curve, and everyone will be able to get started right away.

Five Different Unique and Fun Games

Five different games with an endless amount of content.

One of the 5 different games is T-Shirt K.O. you and everybody else in the group have to draw tiny pictures, or write a slogan, once completed these get swapped around to other players. The player who puts together the most appealing variation wins the battle. All of this happens directly on your phone with the Switch functioning as the hub.

Guesspionage is one of our favorite games out of the entire pack. A question that may be asked in this Trivia Mode is ” How many people have actually won something out of aArcade Claw Machine ? ” the first player has to set a percentage of what he or she believes to be an accurate answer, while the other two players will either bet on a higher or lower percentage. Whoever is closest will win the round.

Another extremely fun game is Quiplash. The game begins by providing each player with a “ Fill in the Blank ” field. The idea behind this is to come up with a word or phrase that your opponents like. The options here are endless, and it is up to you if you want to be funny, dirty, mean, offensive or even come up with an absolute nonsense answer.

Final Thought

The game is currently available on the Nintendo eShop priced at only $24.99. This will get you the entire collection of 5 different party games. I have the first jackbox party pack on steam, but I would love to get the 3rd one on my switch!! It’s such a great idea, having 5 games in one!

I LOVED party packs 1 and 2 and would love to try out 3. They’re perfect for having a few friends over, have a few drinks and play a few games. Plus with different games in the pack, if you get bored of one game there’s a bunch more to play

I’ve played the other 2 Jackbox Party Packs and had a lot of fun with them.
Being able to play it from the Switch wherever you go is really enticing!
You could potentially do the same with a laptop, but I’m way more apt to be bringing my Switch places than I am a laptop. I’d love a copy of the game 🙂

I play 4-player multiple on a weekly basis and this could definitely blow a fun-killer like Mario Party out of the water if I got it.

I want the Party pack because it looks and sounds like it would be a blast at gatherings. It sounds like it has lots of replayability and is diverse from other games on the system. Great review! I am really enjoying my Switch. It’s been out barely a month and it already is probably my favorite console ever. Love the games that are coming out for it and the ability to play anywhere.

Id love to get this game for me and my girlfriend and friends to enjoy! She wants to enjoy the switch but doesnt have as much fun with games like Binding Of Isaac and Hasbeen Heroes. I think this would really help her enjoy the console!

I’ve never played the Jackbox Party games but I’d love to try this one! I’ve seen a lot of Youtubers playing this and it looks fun and easy to play with everyone.

Guesspionage was the least favorite of our group. One or two games and we were done. I think Fakin It and Murder Trivia Party have edged out Quiplash 2 in terms of games played. Tee KO has provided some great laughs, but I think it could be stronger. Honestly in them all I want just a little more control (rounds in Quiplash and Fakin It), Number of Questions asked in Quiplash per round, bracket style in Tee KO, etc.)
