Get ready to build and craft, Dragon Quest Builders 2 has a free demo available on all consoles

The full release of Dragon Quest Builders 2 is just around the corner. What better way to prepare than playing a free demo available right now on the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch. Get ready to build a whole new world to your liking, and save the realm from Hargon. Hargon is back again and wishes to plunge the world into darkness and simplicity, striping the inhabitants of the land their ability to craft anything.

With all the great changes that really make this new installment special, we are very excited to have a demo version to get to experience the demo for ourselves. Keep an eye on myPotatoGames for a full coverage of the demo, just as soon as we’ve had a chance to play it (it is already downloaded).
Dragon Quest Builders 2 will be available in full on July 12th, this year. It is only releasing for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game is available as part of Nintendo’s voucher program, which you can learn more about by clicking here. To reserve your own copy of Dragon Quest Builders 2, you can click here for Nintendo Switch, and click here for PlayStation 4.
A big thanks to our follower Kikki for bringing this awesome news to our attention right away!

You’re totally welcome! I’ve played a bit…half an hour or so? It’s absolutely charming. I think I could even call it ‘delightful’. The characters are so stuffed with personality, even the throw-away bad guys! Malroth makes for an awesome partner…he doesn’t want to steal any of your materials, he just wants to bash things up, leaving a big trail of materials in his wake for you to snatch up! It looks even cuter than the last game, too. I’m totally loving it, so far. Even the tutorial portion was fun.

If for any reason there are people who are interested in the demo but can’t play it, there’s footage of the whole thing here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbR7M40DypA
There are some ‘secret’ areas you can actually break into around the island to harvest some nice materials, but this video is more straight-forward and doesn’t get into any of the little tricks you can do to experience a little extra content that is technically available in the demo.

Thank you so much for sharing that Kikki! The demo is great fun, looking forward to playing the full game!
