The first Cook, Serve, Delicious! game came to PC and mobile devices in 2013. Selling more than a million copies, it was more than popular enough to warrant a sequel. Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2 was released for PC, Switch, PS4 and Xbox One, as well as Mac and Linux.

Now we have word that a third entry into the series will be entering the Early Access phase in January 2020. It even has a listing on Steam already! At myPotatoGames, we’re always into a good cooking game, but the food in Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3 looks so tasty that we fear that playing it may expand not only our cooking repertoire, but also our waistlines.

We could go for one of these RIGHT NOW.

Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3 is set in a war-torn country that is what remains of the United States’ in 2042. But you can still make gorgeous-looking food from all over the world. Noodle bowls, ratatouille, ice cream, grilled-cheese sandwiches, poutine…oh my! (Please ignore the drooling potatoes behind the screen.) The world of traveling cuisine has become quite rough in 2042. In this version, you will occasionally need to defend your food truck from competitors. If you don’t, you could lose time on the way to the country’s new capital city of Nashville, Tennessee. There you must take part in a cooking contest to prove that you are the best in the world!

Vertigo Gaming Inc hopes to have Cook, Serve, Delicious 3! in early access for 6 to 8 months and be able to release the full version in Q3 of 2020. No word yet on which platforms the completed game will be available.
