Farm fantastic foods and collect an eclectic array of creatures in Monster Harvest, now available on Nintendo Switch.

There could honestly just never be enough farming sims in the world. What better way to find piece of mind than by digitally cultivating your own little garden or farm. And with so many different unique ways to spin the genre, it comes as no surprise that we are always seeing new and exciting features being brought in. Monster Harvest brings the farming style of Stardew Valley, but adds the creature collection and battle system of the old school Pokemon games.

In Monster Harvest, you find yourself on Planimal Point, a land named after the creatures that reside within. The land is inhabited by creatures that are a hybrid of plants and animals, thus the name “Planimal”. You will be tasked with growing you own farm to help sustain yourself and your companions.

Throughout the game, you will encounter some ominous blobs that seem to have ability to turn your crops into creatures. You will then befriend these creatures and train them in the art of battle. They will be your friends, but they will also help you defeat the many creatures that may try to hinder your growth as a farmer.

Monster Harvest is now available on Nintendo Switch and costs just $19.99.

Lightyear Frontier is an open world farming and exploration game that you can play with your friends.

In my honest opinion, there could never be enough games that let me create my own little community. Building, farming and crafting are my bread and better when it comes to finding the perfect chill game. Throw in a unique atmosphere and plenty of features (and maybe an open world) and you have got me sold for hours.

    Lightyear Frontier

From what I can see, Lightyear Frontier has all of this, and then some. Your player will encapsulated by what is referred to as a farming mech. It is a giant robot suit that is made to do one thing very well, and that thing is (you guessed it) farming. The suit itself will make mass production a thing of ease.

You will use this suit to to explore an alien planet, and harvest and grow to hearts content. You will also be able to tame the wildlife and use breeding to make your own perfect farm. Much like in other farming games, there will be different buildings to construct that will also streamline the farming process.

    Lightyear Frontier

You will be able to play in both first and third person, and will be able to play with up to three other players online. Currently, Lightyear Frontier is set to release on Steam and Xbox Series X and Xbox One. For more information on the game, you can check out their Steam page.

Witchery Academy is now Kitori Academy, and the game is looking amazing!

For those that may have missed it, Witchery Academy is an adorable little life sim that puts you in the role of a witch or wizard in training. You will be tasked with learning a wide array of amazing tricks, spells and potions; all while mingling with your peers and exploring the grounds.

You will even be able to go off campus to do a little resourcing for those precious ingredients needed to make your different potions. Seems like a lot to undertake, but you will not be doing it alone. Every witch or wizard will have their very own adorable companion to guide them along the way.

In recent events, the small development team working on Witchery Academy decided that the game would be much more suited with a different name; and have since changed it to Kitori Academy.

The developers have also launched a new website for the game to give fans an idea as to what all is going on behind the scenes of Kitori Academy development.

There is now an official Switch release date for the animal care sim Pups & Purrs Animal Hospital.

Pups & Purrs Animal Hospital is a pretty simple, yet adorable, pet care simulation. You will be charged with taking good care of a a few super cute doggies and kitties at your animal hospital. This includes feeding, cleaning, brushing, medical attention and of course, lots of love.

Asks Games announced back in March that the game would be releasing this Summer, and here we are. After a few delays, the game will not be releasing this summer, but instead on November 11th, 2021.

In the announcement, the publishers also released a charming trailer for the game, which you view below. The game will be releasing both digitally and physically. From what I could find, there is currently no price point, but I will keep an eye out for more info leading up to the games official release.
