[dropcap]D[/dropcap]ragon Quest XI is one of the most anticipated video games on Nintendo Switch. Square Enix has released a new gameplay trailer today. The developer has also taken a moment to reconfirm the Nintendo Switch version of the game, and assured that Dragon Quest would still be released on Nintendos latest console this year.

Square Enix has recently pointed out their great support for the Nintendo Switch, and teased more announcements to come soon. Square Enix denied to confirm whether Dragon Quest XI would be released alongside the Playstation 4 version of the game on July 29th or not.

“It is still planned but no announcements today. Whether it launches together on the same day as PS4 and 3DS or not we cannot say today.”

The game is set to feature more than 50 hours of storyline, and will be released on Playstation 4 and Nintendo 3DS on July 29th, while the Nintendo Switch version has no definite release date as of now. We will update this post once a release date has been confirmed.
