The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is out. It is safe to say that more than a Million People are currently enjoying the new open world game. We are taking a look at all the things you proabbly didn’t know you could do in Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Wii U.

Use A Korok Leaf To Propel A Raft

You can take a Korok leaf to use the wind to your advantage. All you have to is use your sword to sever the rope, jump on, and blast the sail with your Korok Leaf.

Customize  A Horse

Take your horse to a stable, talk to the person running the shop, usually this person is standing right in front. Now you will be able to customize your horses name, saddle, colors etc.

Expand Your Inventory Slots

You are only given 10 slots at the beginning, forcing you to compromise the stuff you pick up and take with you. To expand your inventory, go to Hetsu the maraca-shaking Korok. Just give him any Koro Seek, and you will be able to extend your inventory.

Point The Magnet Into Bodies Of Water For Secret Chests

Whenever you come upon any decent-sized body of water or a wide lake, equip your magnet and look down into the depths.

Use Food To Get Dog Companions

You can drop raw meat on the ground in front of any dog and have it join you for a while.

Use Amiibos For Rare In-Game Items

You can use Zelda: Breath of the Wild Amiibos to unlock special in-game items.

Dye Your Clothes & Armour

If you want to have a unique looking character you may want to dye your clothes and armour. To do so head over to Hateno Village and speak to Sayge, you will be able to color up Link here.

Get Lots Of Rupees For Cheaply Cooked Meals

Speaking of Rupees, if you’re struggling to afford batches of fancy arrows or a new set of armour, just head out into the open world, pick up some basic fruit and Mushrooms, and cook them together. This cheaply cooked meal will sell fore quite a few Rupees.

Make A Campfire & Cook Certain Things Anywhere

To make a campfire anywhere in the world, you will need to cut down a tree and strike it again to make firewood. Open your inventory, ‘hold’ the wood and place it where you want your fire to be, then use a fire arrow to ignite it.

Shield Surf

To begin, first hold ZL to block with any shield, then keep holding, jump forward and hit A – Link will flip the shield and land on it.

myPotatoGames was founded out of our huge love for Animal Crossing, besides spending a lot of time taking care of my virtual village I enjoy painting, creating things or looking up funny and cute dog pictures on the internet. My preferred office location is somewhere on a remote island, in the middle of the South Pacific.
